WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Our Work
The Mendota Area Christian Food Pantry had its humble beginnings in the basement of Holy Cross Convent in 1987. Since that time, MACFP has provided sustenance to anyone finding themselves in need of a helping han. It is our belief that every person be served with dignity and respect no matter their situation. Through the very generous contributions of our local businesses and the communities we serve, we have been able to secure a permanent home for the MACFP with the construction of a new building at 710 6th Avenue, Mendota, Illinois. The benevolence of our businesses and those in our communities who contributed to the building of a new pantry has been heartwarming. We thank you for allowing us to continue our work providing for those less fortunate.
